X10 just finished awhile ago Microsoft showing off more screenshots from some of it’s biggest games that are in devolpment and release this year.

Hale Reach was one of the biggest games to be shown at the conference. The first bit of information is that teh Halo Reach Beta will be officialy released May 3rd in Hale 3 ODST. Bungie devloper talks about how Hale Reach will be a even more dark tale compared to Halo 3 ODST where the planet where we fight in will fall to the covenant. A ViDoc of Halo Reach has been released, it is also avaliable to download of Xbox Live. Link to video on youtube. Halo Reach is also recieving a engine upgrade from the previous games. Giving us a better visual look to the game. Battles in Halo Reach have described as epic and Be mroe intense. Sprint Boost has been added into the game and the replacement for Single use equipment has been used by Armor Abilities that can be used over time after a small amount of time to recharge. Dead Rising 2 DLC has been confirmed and it will be released first for 360 players first. THe DLC is described to the a prologue mission.

New Screenshots of Splinter Conviction has been showed at X10 and been confirmed to be released in April 13 2010.

Mass Effect 2 has been released and has received great reviews and a great score. It is sequel to the science fiction RPG Mass Effect.

Dante Inferno also has been release for those who don’t know it is roughly based on the Divine Comedy. For those who don’t know Divine Comedy it’s a poem split into 3 parts. Dantes Inferno is based on the first part of the poem which describes the 9 circles of hell.

BioShock 2 has also been released.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta has been released. It will also receive day one DLC

which is free to download the Demo for the PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain has been released on the PSN.

Microsoft gaming event X10 is 2 days away and bungie has confirmed that Halo Reach will be shown with a new ViDoc for the press on the following morning on Xbox Live.

Pne of Microsoft new Ideas for the 360 is a new room called the Game Room. The Game Room is a virtual Arcade with classic Retro Titles. The Idea for this game room is to bring back the retro feeling from games for the people who have grown up loving those retro games like centipede. The arcade will be released this Spring for 360 and PC with 30 original games and console classic.Players will be able to invite friends to your own custom arcade to challenge each other. The retro games will appear in their original cabinets and can be placed anywhere in your arcade. New games will be released every week, with over 1000 titles being available over the next three years. Titles will be priced between 240-400 points for download, while 40 points nets players a single play.

Purchasing a game allows players to play it both on either Xbox 360 or PC.

“Game Room” will support Avatars, Voice Chat, 1080p, online multi player (Gold membership required), and cross-platform leader boards and achievements.

Sounds something like the Playstation Home eh.

Toshiba has just unveiled their ZX900 Series CELL TV, so named for its powerful CELL Engine which has 143 times the processing power available in current TV models. What exactly are they using all that power for? Well, with the Toshiba CELL you’ll be able to watching everything in 3D. That’s right, when true 3D content isn’t available CELL TV’s TriVector 2D to 3D Conversion takes any 2D content and converts it into 3D in real time — games, movies, sports, TV shows, whatever.

If that hasn’t sufficiently blown your mind, CELL TV is also a high-end Home Entertainment Server with a built-in 1TB HDD, BD Player, and 802.11n wireless. Content can be downloaded from the Internet, transferred from your PC, or recorded directly onto the HDD from the BD Player. Furthermore, the companion CELL Set-Top Box connects to the display without any wires. Net TV content will include Netflix, VUDU, CinemaNow, Pandora and more. And there’s video phone capability.

Sony Has released details on a new product, the Sony Dash.  The dash is a brand new product for accessing web-based content in the home without utilizing a full computer system. Instead, it packs specially tailored web content such as Twitter, video streams, and more into a small, alarm-clock device that you can position anywhere in your home Wi-Fi network. The Dash will be able to use proprietary apps and servives. The Sony Dash will come out in store in April at a cost of $199 US

This Year Sony is planning to invest more into 3D media. They have started to invest into making 3D Television to have 3D channels like IMax. Sony Promises to expand into 3D gaming for the PS3. According to Sony every PS3 can get a Firmware Update that will allow them to play 3D standard games and other 3d media. At the Conference 3 games were shown in 3D Avatar The Game, Super Stardust HD and Gran Turismo 5. Sony hasn’t confirmed a pricing yet.

Microsoft reveals more details on their new motion controller Project Natal. They Have confirmed that the new Controller will be released before the end of 2010. Project Natal will be running at 30 frames per second from camera. Microsft reassured that the games won’t run at the speed.

Microsoft also reveal that a new DLC for Modern Warfare 2 will be released first on the 360.

Optoma unveiled their newest series home projection systems, the Game Time projector series. According to Optoma, the Game Time projectors were designed specifically with interactive gaming in mind. The two new projectors are the GT360 and the GT720, and both feature 2,500 lumens, 3,000:1 contrast ratios, built-in stereo speaker systems, and short-throw lenses to accommodate smaller room configurations. The GT360, Optoma says, is designed with the Nintendo Wii in mind, with a native SVGA resolution of 800 x 600. The GT360 is capable of accepting and processing full 1080p HD signals from other sources, but the resolution output remains limited to 800 x 600. On the other hand, the GT720 is geared toward the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with a higher native widescreen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Like the GT360, the GT720 can accept full 1080p sources, but again, the resolution is locked in at the native 1280 x 800 resolution. Aside from the slight bump in resolution, the only discernible differences between the two projectors are their color schemes; the GT360 comes in white, while the GT720 is available in black.

As for the 3D-readiness of the projectors, both are DLP, which means they are capable of 3D playback, however, the functionality of their 3D capability is dependent largely on a user’s input sources.

The GT360 and the GT720 will arrive this March and will be priced at $499 and $699 respectively.

Recently today the new GTA Episodes from Liberty City. Episodes from Liberty from Liberty City will only be released for the 360. It includes the two DLCs The Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony. Ballad of Gay Tony is also up for download off Xbox live. There are new weapons e.g. P90 and Shawn-Off Shotguns. New Missions and new vehicles. I’m most certainly pleased with the return of parachutes allowing players to base jump like the good old days with San Andreas.

Mordern Warfare 2 themed Xbox 360. These consoles are now avlaible to be pre-ordered. The bundle includes a 250GB Xbox 360 with an exclusive Modern Warfare 2 design printed on the console, wired headset, 2 black 360 wireless controllers and of course, a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Hey Guys so I’m back and Holidays are coming up. Meaning that there will be more post from me and more of me in Podcasts. As you may know from an earlier Post from Glen made before that my internet was hacked. Here in Australia we have a cap for our internet and when we go over it is extremely slow. So a guy hacked my internet and used up my whole 10GB left for me in one day. But that was the past and now holidays are coming up giving me time to relax from exams and start posting up more news for gaming. I have recentley bought a copy of Halo 3 ODST so I will be making a review about that later on the month.  So I’m back and that means more gaming news for you.

For those fan of the games made by Konami they show us what the have been working on these past months.

The first game is for the Wii. It is called Tower of Shadow. It contains a adventure filled with puzzles.

A new racer game for the Ipod touch and IPhone is called Krazy Kart Racing.  Krazy Kart Racing will also support six-player online multiplayer. He then showed a brief trailer for the game, which looked a lot like a Mario Kart clone compete with over-the-top levels, zany racers and a wide assortment of power-ups. The title will be available in the next couple weeks on the App Store.

Silent Hill series has been a fan favourite for some of the horror genre. Silent Hill: Shatterd Memories.

For those who own a PSP and require a true metal gear solid game. It is coming to you very soon. Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker. Hideo Kojima chose to make the game on PSP since most games today are portable. A new trailer was featured and showed 4 player CO-OP. Nice one Kojima

The new Castlevania game Castlevania:Lords of Shadow. It will have some of the classic weapon return with new features as well. A Extended trailer has been shown of the game.

Last is for those people who are sporty and like soccer. The new Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 was shown. A demo was released earlier in June. From comment made from player the developers decides to tweak the game a bit for the customers. It will come out on November 19th for Wii, PSP and PS2 November 5th and for 360, PS3 and PC October 22nd

Day 2 of GamesCom. Microsoft steps up to show what they have been working on for a few months.

Lionhead director Peter Molyneux comes up to tell us that fabl 2 will be slipt into an episodic sage. It will be sltip into 5 chapters all avaliable to download. The first 1 willl be free and it will start setember 29th.

Right off the bat they jump in to confirm that the 3rd game in the series is being developed. The game will concetrate more on the aspect you will become the ruler of albion.
