It’s here. It’s been months of rumors and hopeful technology enthusiasts. Google has announced Chrome OS Chrome OS will be cloud based, meaning it will be run over the internet, essensially you go to a website and when it loads it’s a login screen for an OS. Chrome OS will be open source and Linux based, it will run on everything from a Netbook to a high end Computer.  Chrome OS will work on both x86 and ARM chips. I wonder how they will get everything to work online. I assume you will be able to run your current OS seamlessly with Google’s Chrome OS, but we will see. Overall this sounds promising, I guess we will have have to see over time where they take it.
