If Wii players know is that COD WAW is on the Wii. But why didn’t infintityward put COD4 onto Wii. It was avaliable on DS. Today Activision announced will be releasing COD 4 onto Ninentendo’s best selling console. It will come out the same day when Modern Warfare 2 comes out. The developers of COD WAW and COD3 Treyarch, will handle the port for the Wii  version of COD4. The game will come out on 10th of November the same days as Modern Warfare 2 release.

Activion earlier announced that a Ninentendo DS version will be releases. It has been dubbed Modern Warfare Mobilized. It will include multiplayer and a horde mode varient. It will have its own storyline and features all kinds of missions. The developers are N-Space who handle the COD games on the DS ( COD4, COD WAW ). It will be release the same day as all the other Modern Warfare games on the 10th of November.

Well most of us know that the next Call Of Duty games won’t contain Call of Duty in the name. But explain this

Activision has replied that the original creators, Infinity Ward, want to have the name part of the title. Modern Warfare 2 is a part of the Call of Duty Franchise. It’s a direct Sequel to Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and they want players to focus on the fact it’s the first direct sequel in the franchise. They also agreed that putting Call of Duty in the name, will let people know it’s a Call of Duty game, which is a good thing.
